Ditch the Dark!
The Eco Team, in collaboration with our Sustrans Active Travel officer Dave, have organised a special day in school to highlight the importance of wearing appropriate clothing when we are out walking or cycling on darker days.
High Vis Vests - We are delighted that we are able to give each child a special high vis vest with the school name and logo on it.
Our Ditch the Dark Day - On 4th February we will carry out lots of fun activities including a special assembly, wearing high visibility clothing, poster competitions, a class walk and class visits by Dave.
BE SEEN and BE SAFE -Children can come to school in their own clothes and dress in Bright Colours - THE BRIGHTER THE BETTER! They can decorate their clothing wit special reflectors, wear fluorescent bracelets, funky hats or colurful wigs!
We hope this will be an enjoyable and informative day for all.
