We had a brilliant day with the RSPB at Greenmount Campus. We explored the woodland and garden areas of Greenmount to investigate how seasons affect the growth of trees and the behaviour of birds and we learned about birds that live in the woodland and depend on trees for their habitat. We had opportunities to collect seeds, leaves and other fallen materials, navigate our way around the maze and collect apples, beetroot and beans from the vegetable garden to bring back to school.
