P7 WAU Work with Habitat for Humanity
1st Jun 2017
P7 have been really enjoying their WAU topic of "Where We Live" linked to bird migration at Lough Neagh and human migration giving it a more global perspective also. Today we had a visit from Victoria from Habitat for Humanity who taught us all about human migration. We also learned about certain aspects of African culture and had an enjoyable morning. Andy from the Lough Neagh Discovery Centre also came along to teach us more about bird migration and we even got to see a young bird who had fallen from its nest recently and was being cared for by hand. It was a touching experience!
